Travis Head will lead Adelaide Strikers in Big Bash League 2021-22. Strikers, who got eliminated against the Sydney Thunders in Eliminators, would be looking to repeat BBL 2017.
Under the coach Jason Gillespie Adelaide Strikers is looking good with the addition of world’s best spinner Rashid Khan and fast bowler George Garton. They will play the first match of the season against Melbourne Renegades on 7th December. Their last league match will be against Sydney Sixers at their home ground.
This year Adelaide Strikers will play the most popular NYE clash (New Year’s Eve) against Sydney Thunder. In the first six seasons Strikers maintained an all win record but they lost in last 2 seasons to Sydney Thunder and Perth Scorchers.
