Sydney Thunder are the winners of the Big Bash League 05 season and would be looking to win the trophy for the second time in BBL 2021-22. Skipper Usman Khawaja & Coach Trevor Bayliss would be looking to win the championship title for the second time in the history.
With the addition of new recruits like Saqib Mahmood, Sam Billings & Alex Hales, Thunder are looking for a strong finish in this season. They would be a strong contender for winning the BBL trophy in 2021-22 season.
Thunder will start their campaign against Brisbane Heat on 6 December 2021. They will finish their league stage against Melbourne Renegades on 19 January 2021.
