England announced their playing 11 for the rescheduled 5th Test Match against India that begins at Edgbaston on Friday. Legendary fast bowler – James Anderson will make a return to the playing 11 replacing Jamie Overton.
Sam Billings, who was Ben Foakes replacement in the third test match against New Zealand, will keep the wickets. The other players from the third test match against New Zealand kept their place in the playing 11.

- Middle Order – Joe Root, Ollie Pope, Ben Stokes, Jonny Bairstow, Sam Billings
- Bowlers – Stuart Broad, James Anderson, Jack Leach, Matthew Potts

India lead the series 2-1, having registered famous wins at Lord’s and The Oval last year. The fifth Test, originally set to be held in Manchester, was postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak in the Indian camp.
