Indian Premier League vs Pakistan Super League – which is the best among two? This is the question for which cricket fans across the border fight on social media. While PSL has attracted raw global talent, IPL has reached new heights with 10 teams participating in IPL 2022.
As Australian cricket team reached Pakistan for the first tour since 1998, Usman Khawaja gives his verdict on IPL vs PSL debate. During the press conference, Usman Khawaja was asked for his opinion about recently concluded PSL 2022.
“PSL as a league I think it’s right up there in the world. Fast bowling… Pakistan is always unbelievable. It’s very strong. Obviously, IPL is the strongest league in the world. Hands down, there’s not really a contest there,”
“At the end of the day, they have all the world come to them and they’re the only league in the world to have Indian cricketers. So it ends up becoming the best league in the world. The BBL, the PSL, The Hundred and CPL are all quality leagues and everyone wants to participate in them.” Khawaja said.
Lahore Qalandars won their first PSL title (Pakistan Super League 2022) by beating Multan Sultans in the finals.
IPL 2022 will commence from 26 March and the league stage of 70 matches will be played in Mumbai & Pune. This time the league will be even bigger with the addition of 2 new teams – Gujarat Titans & Lucknow Super Giants.
