ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022 is the global Women’s ODI tournament organized by International Cricket Council (ICC). This will be one the biggest sports event in the world where top 8 countries will fight to win the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022 title in New Zealand.
The marquee event is scheduled to start from 04 March 2022 and the finals will be played on 03 April 2022. The global tournament was originally scheduled to be held in Feb-Mar 2021 but it was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The pinnacle event for women’s cricket will see 31 matches played across 31 action-packed days. The tournament will be played among 8 teams across six different venues – Auckland, Tauranga, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin.

ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022 Teams
The global marquee event will be played among eight women’s cricket teams. While India, England, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa are the pre-qualified teams balance 3 others are yet to qualify to play this event.
The balance three teams will be confirmed after the ICC qualifying tournament which will be held in Zimbabwe from 21 November to 5 December.
