Indian Cricket Team registered a resounding victory over New Zealand in the 3rd ODI. The Men in Blue won the match by 90 runs and became the No.1 ranked ODI side. Skipper Rohit Sharma struck a fine century where the batter was looking in sublime touch and silenced all the outside noise.
New Zealand’s middle order once again failed to perform according to its credentials. Skipper Tom Latham’s soft dismissal proved to be the turning point of the match. The batter managed to score only 25 runs in the ODI Series which is a concern for the management.

Kamran Akmal on Virat Kohli & Rohit Sharma
Kamran Akmal was having an interaction with Salman Butt on his YouTube channel and made interesting remarks about Rohit Sharma.
“I don’t support three captains for three different formats. You can have two captains. Also, there’s no time to change a captain now, because you have a World Cup coming up. You could’ve made the change after the T20 World Cup last year, because the new captain would’ve had some experience by then,” said Kamran Akmal.

“You can have two captains, for sure. You can manage workload that way. It’s not easy to captain in all three formats. Virat Kohli ki himmat hai vo 5 saal nikaal gaya, Rohit Sharma ko ek saal nahi hua aur uski haalat dekh lo kya ho gayi. Toss me bataana bhool gaya ki batting karni hai ya bowling (Kohli is brave that he spent 5 years as captain across formats. Rohit didn’t even complete a year and look what’s happening to him. He even forgot at the toss if he wants to bat or bowl).” he added.
Great Win for India
The management would be quite delighted given the fact that Shardul Thakur provided breakthroughs for the team at crucial stages of the match. The batter also played a handy knock of 25 runs in 17 balls at the back end of the innings which helped India post a daunting target of 386 runs.

Not many would have thought that India would win the series by 3-0 given the fact that New Zealand have a decent batting lineup. The biggest positive for the Men in Blue in this Series was the rise of Shubman Gill as the batter scored 360 runs which included one double ton & a century.
