India’s former skipper and modern day legend – Virat Kohli was seen shaking hands with Pakistan’s left arm fast bowler – Shaheen Shah Afridi ahead of the clash between two neighboring nations. India will take on Pakistan in their first match of Asia Cup 2022 on August 28, Sunday in Dubai.
Yesterday, a video was shared on Twitter in which Virat Kohli was seen speaking with Shaheen Afridi but the audio was not clear which left the fans disappointed. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) lifted the suspense over the conversation as they released a new video. In the new video, Kohli was seen approaching Pakistan’s injured Shaheen Afridi during their practice session for the Asia Cup 2022 tournament.
In the new video captioned, “The suspense is over! Let’s listen to the conversation between @iShaheenAfridi and @imVkohli”, the Indian batter was seen speaking to Shaheen Afridi about his injury. Shaheen also speaks about Kohli returning back to form soon.

Shaheen Shah Afridi will be missing the Asia Cup 2022 tournament due to the knee injury sustained during the first test at Galle against Sri Lanka. He will be hopeful of making a comeback to the Pakistan cricket team ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022.
