India vs Pakistan Highlights Asia Cup 2022, IND vs PAK Highlights Asia Cup 2022 Highlights: Hardik Pandya & Ravindra Jadeja held their nerves in a tense match to power India to a 5-wicket win over Pakistan in IND vs PAK match of Asia Cup 2022. Hardik smashed left arm spinner Mohammad Nawaz for a six on 4th ball of final over to seal the victory for India.

With just 7 needed off the final over, allrounder Ravindra Jadeja was castled by Nawaz off first ball. Dinesh Karthik took a single on next ball and gave the strike back to Hardik Pandya. After missing the next ball for a dot, Hardik hit a big six on the final ball to finish the game in a style.

Chasing a modest target of 148 runs, Pakistan bowlers kept India’s batters in check since the beginning. KL Rahul was castled for a duck in the first over by debutant Naseem Shah. Rohit Sharma looked scratchy in his innings but Virat Kohli played some good shots. Rohit was dismissed by Nawaz on last ball of his first over while Virat was dismissed on first ball of next over.

India’s move to send Ravindra Jadeja helped as Pakistan captain Babar Azam has to held Mohammad Nawaz’s final over till the last. Suryakumar Yadav & Jadeja helped India to keep in check but it was left to Hardik Pandya to finish the game. Pandya remained unbeaten on 33 runs off just 17 balls to win the game for India.

Pakistan Innings:

Earlier, Bhuvneshwar Kumar & Hardik Pandya scripted a tight bowling to reduce Pakistan toa modest total. Bhuvneshwar Kumar started it with the big wicket of Babar Azam with a surprised bouncer in 3rd over to send Pakistan on backfoot.

Before the End of powerplay, Avesh Khan then dismissed Fakhar Zaman edging one behind to Dinesh Karthik. However, Mohammad Rizwan & Iftikhar Ahmed added 45-run for the 3rd wicket before Hardik Pandya broke the stand. Pakistan lost 2 more wickets soon including that of well-set Rizwan as they found themselves reeling at 97 for 5.

Pakistan kept losing wickets at regular intervals and were 128/9. In the last few overs Haris Rauf & Shahnawaz Dahani played useful cameos to help their team post a 145-plus total. Bhuvneshwar Kumar finished with 4 wickets for 26 runs while Hardik Pandya & Arshdeep Singh took 3 & 2 wickets respectively.
