IPL 2021: MI vs CSK- Chennai Super Kings opt to bat first against Pollard led Mumbai Indians in Dubai, Rohit and Hardik not playing

IPL 2021 resumes in the Dubai International Stadium with the 5-time defending IPL champions Mumbai Indians is taking on the 3-time winner of the IPL Chennai Super Kings in the 30th game of this season.

Faf and Dwayne Bravo fit, Anmolpreet Singh makes his debut for Mumbai Indians

Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni won the coin toss and opted to bat first on a hot evening in Dubai. Sam Curran who is still in quarantine is not available for the game. Faf Du Plessis and Dwayne Bravo have recovered from injuries to be part of the XI. Josh Hazlewood and Moeen Ali are the other 2 overseas players.

Big news from the Mumbai camp is that skipper Rohit Sharma is not playing due to an injury and Kieron Pollard leading the team. Hardik Pandya also misses out with Anmolpreet Singh making his IPL debut. This is also the 100th IPL game for Jasprit Bumrah.

So both the teams have made changes to their team that played in the 27th match of the IPL on May 1st, 2021.
