IPL 2021: SRH vs RR- Rajasthan Royals opt to bat first against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Jason Roy makes his debut for SRH

The Sunrisers Hyderabad(SRH) who are languishing at the bottom of the points table is taking on the Rajasthan Royals(RR) in the 40th match of the IPL 2021 at Dubai. This is a must-win game for the Royals while the Hyderabad are more or less out of running as far as the playoffs are concerned.

Evin Lewis and Chris Morris make a return for RR

Sanju Samson, the skipper of the Rajasthan Royals won the toss and elected to bat first against a new-look SRH team. RR has also made changes bringing the fit-again Evin Lewis, Chris Morris in place of Tabraiz Shamsi and David Miller. The first match hero for RR, Kartik Tyagi also misses out due to an injury, and Jaydev Unadkat makes a return.

David Warner and Manish Pandey dropped from the SRH team

Sunrisers Hyderabad has dropped an out of form David Warner and the English opener Jason Roy replaces him. Apart from that the experienced Indian batsmen Manish Pandey and Kedar Jadhav have left. The young duo of Priyam Garg and Abhishek Sharma replaces them, while Siddarth Kaul comes in for Khaleel Ahmed.

We would have had a hit as well. But we will look to adapt early with the ball and limit their total. Few young players are getting opportunities,” SRH skipper Williamson at the toss.
