The IPL 2022 playoffs will be played at Kolkata & Ahmadabad with Qualifier 1 and Eliminator at Eden Gardens on May 24 and 25; Narendra Modi Stadium to host Qualifier 2 and final on May 27 and 29.
With the ongoing 15th season of Indian Premier League i.e. IPL 2022 crossed halfway stage, the IPL governing council announced the IPL Playoffs schedule for the four knock-out or the playoff matches. For the first time in two years the playoffs will be played in front of full capacity crowds in Kolkata & Ahmadabad.
The Qualifier 1 and Eliminator fixtures would take place on May 24 and May 26 respectively at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The Eliminator 2 and the grand finale would take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmadabad on May 27 and May 29 respectively.
The schedule has meant that the winner of ‘Eliminator’ would have to travel all the way from Kolkata to Ahmadabad to play the ‘Eliminator 2’ fixture the very next day.
