New Zealand Cricket Team will be starting their campaign in the T20 World Cup 2022 against trans-Tasman rivals Australia on 22 October 2022 at SCG Sydney. All eyes will be on the inaugural match of the T20 World Cup 2022 as it will be rematch of the T20 World Cup 2021 Final.
International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the T20 World Cup 2022 schedule & qualification pathway. The first round will start with Sri Lanka taking on with Namibia.
New Zealand team are placed in Group 1 with Australia, England & Afghanistan. The other 2 qualifiers will be joining them after the First Round. The T20 World Cup 2022 will be a golden opportunity for Babar Azam to lead Pakistan to their 2nd T20 World Cup glory.
