Royal Challengers Bangalore have named New Zealand all-rounder Michael Bracewell as the replacement player for the injured Will Jacks.
Bracewell Named As Will Jacks Replacement For IPL 2023
Ahead of the IPL 2023, RCB faced a blow after England’s Will Jacks withdrew from the IPL 2023 season owing to a muscle injury he sustained during the ODI series in Bangladesh.
Ahead of the start of every season, some of the participating players will withdraw from the tournament owing to various reasons and the team will name a replacement player. Coming to the RCB’s squad, we have early predicted that Bracewell might be the potential replacement player for Will Jacks. Confirming the prediction, RCB officially announced that Michael Bracewell will be participating in the season in the place of Will Jacks.
Jacks was signed by Royal Challengers Bangalore for INR 3.2 crore (£320,000) at December’s auction as a cover for injured Maxwell in the middle order. While RCB signs Bracewell for his base price of INR 1 crore.
