However, they failed to defend the total as Gujarat got home quite comfortably in the end. As Rajasthan Royals finishes second in the league stage, they get another chance to make it to the final.
On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore scripted another fine win to beat Lucknow Super Giants by 14 runs in the Eliminator. Batting first, Rajat Patidar struck a magnificent unbeaten 112 that steered Bangalore to 207/4. They then held Lucknow at 193/6 with the ball.
The winner of this contest will meet Gujarat Titans in the final of IPL 2022.
