Rohit Sharma will return as the skipper for the white ball series against England which will start with first T20I match on July 7. Sharma, who will be missing the rescheduled 5th Test match between India & England, will have enough time to recover from COVID-19.
Sanju Samson, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Arshdeep Singh, Rahul Tripathi & Venkatesh Iyer are dropped from the squad. Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja, Rishabh Pant & Shreyas Iyer will make a return to full strength India’s squad.
Umran Malik & Deepak Hooda will continue to keep their place in the squad after the 2 match series against Ireland.

The first match will be played on July 7th in Southampton while the last two matches will be played on July 9 & July 10. It will be followed by the 3 match ODI series.
For the ODI series, opener Shikhar Dhawan makes a comeback along with the maiden call up for the newcomer Arshdeep Singh. Hardik Pandya will also make a comeback in the 50-over cricket for the first time since the tour of Sri Lanka in July 2021.
