T10 League: Shortest format of the game returns from November 19
After four successful editions of the Abu Dhabi T10 League, the fifth season is all set to commence from November 19 and will go on till December 4, 2021. The shortest format of the game is a 10-over per-side contest which was given a nod by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
It will be for the second time that the league will be played in the year 2021. The fourth edition of the league was originally scheduled to be played from November 19 to November 28, 2020. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament got postponed to the next year i.e. 2021.
Since its inception in 2017, the league has garnered a lot of attention and has accentuated with every concluding season. Until the birth of this format, fans were content with the T20 format. But the T10 league has exploited the fans for good. The fans celebrate the fast-paced matches that get over within a span of 90 minutes. Also, the structure of the league is based on a round-robin format followed by semi-finals and the final.
