The Cricket Australia on Thursday (July 7) has announced the scheduled for the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL 8 or WBBL 2022-23). The WBBL 2022-23 will start on October 13 while the finals will be played on November 20. The WBBL tournament opener will be played between Brisbane Heat and Sydney Sixers at the Great Barrier Reef Arena in Mackay. There will be Eight city-based franchise teams participating in the tournament identical to Men’s Big Bash League. The Perth Scorchers are the current champions, winning their maiden title in WBBL 07.
