For the first time ever the Women’s CPL will run along side men’s CPL 2022. In the inaugural season of the Women’s CPL T20 tournament Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors and Trinbago Knight Riders will contest in a three teams contest.

The Women’s CPL T20 2022 will be played along side the men’s CPL 2022 in a month long window from August 30 to September 30.  This year the tournament will take place in three Caribbean countries while Guyana will host the finals.

Women’s CPL 2022 Schedule & Time Table

The Women’s CPL 2022 schedule is announced by CPL on 04 July 2022. It will kickstart from August 31 and will be played with three league matches and the final. The finals will be played on 5 September.

  • Thursday Sep 1 – 12:30 AM Trinbago Knight Riders Women vs Barbados Royals Women

  • Sunday Sep 3 – 12:30 AM Barbados Royals Women vs Guyana Amazon Warriors Women

Women’s CPL 2022 Venues

This year the men’s CPL will be played across four different venues unlike last two years. However, the inaugural Women’s CPL 2022 will be played completely at St Kitts & Nevis.

Women’s CPL 2022 Teams, Squads & Players List

There will be three teams participating in the inaugural season of the tournament which are Barbados Royals, Trinbago Knight Riders & Guyana Amazon Warriors. The Barbados Royals & Trinbago Knight Riders are owned by IPL team owners – Rajasthan Royals & Kolkata Knight Riders.

At present all the squads are having 11 players including the domestic and international players from West Indies team. Additionally, each team will sign three overseas players to bring the squad size to 14.

Deandra Dottin will lead the Tribango Knight Riders, while Hayley Matthews will head the Barbados Royals and Stefanie Taylor will captain the Guyana Amazon Warriors.
